Marni Berger

Marni Berger holds a BA in Human Ecology from College of the Atlantic and recently received her MFA in writing from Columbia University. She is working on a travel-memoir about the journeys that led to her pilgrimage across Spain, along El Camino de Santiago. Her published work includes an essay called “A Wanderer in Poem Forest” in The Millions, an online culture and book forum; and the prologue to her novel in COA Magazine. The beginning of her travel-memoir recently received Honorable Mention as a submission to the Glimmer Train 2011 Family Matters Competition. Marni lives on the Upper West Side with her boyfriend, their dog, and a cat they have been babysitting for ten months.
