Lyric Dunagan

Lyric Dunagan is the Development Assistant at Firefly Farms and the Sundress Academy for the Arts. She grew up in Bristol, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Tennessee in May 2013 with a bachelor's degree in English, with a double emphasis in Creative Writing and Literature. She writes both fiction and poetry, and her long-term goals include graduate school, creative publications and teaching at the university level. Her poetry won the Bain-Swiggett Poetry Prize in 2013, and she has been published in Evening Will Come by The Volta. Her writing focuses on themes of sexuality, gender, and the natural world. In addition to reading and writing, she loves cooking, crafting, supporting local music, and being outdoors.
