WIFE AND OTHER WOMAN
his wife slid from one
to the other
with ease he watched
the stretch of flesh
the shoulder blades
flexing gentle
something like
peachskins brushed
familiar
along the lines
of the other woman
static electricity
firefly flashes
were their palms
over backs
of necks
were fingers
through hair
no defining
softness through lengths
of history could fathom
the reference
his wife let her lips
free to taste that
sweetest soft
the woman poured
her fullest wine
they shared a cup
you wouldn't know
was there
