Parris Garnier has published work in Little Brown Poetry, Stirring, Story Bytes, Mindmills, Rogue Scholars, The Buffalo News, Exquisite Corpse and WordWrights. He has read at many venues in Washington, D.C., including Mariposa, Café Myth, and Barnes and Noble. He also has been featured in Buffalo, New York, at The Screening Room) and in Baltimore, Maryland, at X and O. Currently he is writing a novel based on the legend of the steel driver, John Henry. He writes on his balcony in southwest Washington, DC, overlooking the Odyssey on the Potomac downstream from Great Falls.
